OSHA N95 Fit testing Services
Annual OSHA QLFT Respirator Fit testing with irritant smoke for emt students, medical students, nursing students, healthcare professionals, painters, collision repair shop, paint booth technicians, and construction workers. we provide several varieties of paticulate tight fitting healthcare N95 Mask, please come clean shaven and don't eat or drink anything 15min prior to test. Fit Test Completion Certificate and optional wallet card is issued when completed. If you use an Half face respirator (i.e, 3M 3500) you should bring your mask with you for testing. OSHA Requires a medical evaluation prior to wearing a N95 mask. Either complete this evaluation on site. Please fill out this OSHA form and we will have our medical doctor review it

Some agencies require that you be fitted with an specific N95. Confirm with your employer. Include your model number in registration comments.

We perform A qualitative fit test (QLFT) which may only be used to fit-test using the 3M Fit Testing Kit: (15 to 20 min test) total appoint time 25mins. The test may be used to fit test:
QLFT is pass/fail test and relies on the user’s senses using one of four OSHA-accepted test agents:
- Isoamyl acetate (banana smell); only for testing respirators with organic vapor cartridges.
- Saccharin (sweet taste); can test respirators with a particulate filter of any class.
- Bitrex® (bitter taste); can also test respirators with particulate filters of any class. (old method)
- Irritant smoke (involuntary cough reflex); only for testing respirators with level 100 particulate filters. (we now use irritant smoke to test)
Each QLFT method uses seven exercises performed for 1 minute each:
- Normal breathing.
- Deep breathing.
- Moving head side to side.
- Moving head up and down.
- Bending over (or jogging in place if fit test unit doesn’t permit bending at the waist).
- Talking. (rainbow passage)
- Normal breathing again.

Upon successful completion students will receive a respirator fit testing certificate.
College of Mt Saint Vincent Nursing Program Paperwork can be generated for students upon completion, please request this documentation. Accepted by NYS Nursing Programs and Medical Graduate Programs, Hospital and SNFs.

If you need a OSHA Medical Evaluation please add this to your order (not sure call us or message us on whatsapp) OSHA Requires a medical evaluation prior to wearing a N95 mask, Nursing students this should have been done on your nursing school physical examine by your PMD, all others will be required to have a medical evaluation completed on site before testing. For men with facial hair please select your waiver, you still must pass the fitting. (only allowed to fail one time per session)
